“The long bright road ahead”

Tonight I was logged into the Wealthy Affiliate Community and reading posts and happened to come upon one by Kyle, one of the founders of the Wealthy Affiliate Training Program.  Kyle was discussing his journey on the road to success with affiliate marketing and the WA Training and Community.

In his post, Kyle shared a Chinese proverb he really likes:

“To know the road ahead, ask those coming back.”

One of the things I truly enjoy about the WA Community and its owners is the positivity and encouragement that each member receives from Kyle and Carson, the owners and from other members within the community.  Life is so full of pessimists and those who love to “bust our bubbles,” that I feel like a fresh breeze is blowing in my face whenever I’m trolling the community and reading members posts.

“What it takes to succeed”

I know that online success takes several things to reach your goals.

• Hard work
• Proper Training
• Commitment
• Time

Well, I’ve decided that I am prepared to give this venture all of those things for at least the next year of my life.  I know that in the days and weeks ahead I’ll be sitting here at the computer reading, learning, writing and repeating over and over again.  But you know, I’m 60 and in a wheelchair – I’ll be sitting somewhere for the next year, so why not here, doing this?

“Enjoy the journey”

I know myself and that I like to learn new things and I love to read and surf the web and make new online friends.  So in this journey to meeting my financial goals for retirement, I plan to make sure I enjoy that journey.   For the coming months, while I give this training and venture a valid shot, I know that I’ll not only be working hard, learning and training, dedicating hours of my time to affiliate marketing, I also plan on getting to know Kyle and Carson and many, many of the over 200,000 members of the WA Community.

I’ve already met many who are very interesting and each person has his/her own special reason to want to make a success of online marketing.  I’m finding they are people just like myself, busy, with other responsibilities, family and our own strengths and weaknesses and yet each one of us share a dream of achieving SUCCESS with the Wealthy Affiliate Training Program.  I’m praying each of us reach that dream.
