“Get Rich Quick Deals”

I’m sure, like myself you have been “attacked” via email, phone text, Facebook, magazines and even newspapers  that try to sell you the “get rich quick” program or book, or pack, or DVD – whatever.  So the first thing you want to know about my website and my posts about WA Affiliate Training Program would be to know if that’s what I’m trying to promote.  HECK NO!

I hate those schemes and luckily I have not fell for any of them yet – almost but never actually committed to one.  When I was researching a way to earn money in retirement doing online work, I did a lot of web surfing and searching for the available opportunities.  I got very good at researching the various deals and finding out whether they were a scam or not.  I tried the survey sites and found that it was a lot of work for hardly anything.  I tried to win prizes and yet after three years of applying, I had won nothing at all.  For a former career woman with a degree and lots of IT skills training, who retired making over $30/hour, none of these opportunities were appealing either to my mind or my pocketbook.  And then I found the WA Affiliate Training Program.

“Wealthy Affiliates is Not One of those Scams”

So, of course, when I first found promotions on the WA Affiliate Training Program, I put on my “detective hat” and researched this program to see if I could find anything negative about it.  I found a huge number of people who recommended it and liked it and only one complaint.

So I read the terms over and over and the glowing recommendations and then decided to try the seven day “trial” offer.  As soon as I logged into the WA community the first time, I was impressed with the interface, the numbers of people in the community and the happy and encouraging talk amongst the members.  I looked at the levels of training and what they covered and was even more impressed.  So I immediately began working through the Starter Level training.  With all my years in the IT field, including the creation of websites, I thought it would be pretty easy, however the affiliate training program  is very comprehensive and thorough and includes tools I had never encountered.  I found I would get stuck and have to ask for help.

“The WA Community is A Helpful One”

Whenever, I had to ask for help, I found out that this was a community unlike any other I had been involved with – the willingness to help  and the knowledge of the members astounded me along with the lack of competiveness.  Since the world internet marketplace is huge, there is no reason to be competitive.   I began to “follow” other members who were successes and had been around a while and the more I learned, the more impressed I became.  On day three of my “trial” week, I decided that this was a “keeper” and signed up for Premium membership.  I’ve never regretted it, in fact I just this week decided to go Yearly and signed up for a entire year in advance to get the best membership price possible.

In the short time that I’ve been here, I have created three websites, completed half of the training with more marvelous training to come, managed to have some of my posts on the first results page of Google and signed up with some major affiliate programs.  My honest expectation is that  in about three months, I’ll be seeing some commissions coming in from my websites if I continue to fill them with pertinent content.

Every day I’m pleased to see several members posting about their successes – their first $, their first $400 day, their doubling of last year’s income from their websites.  All these wonderful success announcements are very encouraging to me and I know that one day I will be the one posting my own “success story.”

Meanwhile, I’m being patient and working steadily (yes it is work) through the excellent training and learning more and more.  In addition, each day I’m meeting and talking (typing actually) with new friends from all over the world.  That in itself is wonderful for someone like myself who is relatively homebound in my wheelchair.  I’m even collecting friends who are encouraging me with my weight loss and healthy living transition.
